Room on Call (ROC) makes room for USD 2 Million funding from CASHurDRIVE (CUD)



 The start-up is a branded budget accommodation aggregator spread across 42+ cities with 400+ hotels

New Delhi, March 18, 2016:  Room On Call (ROC), the country’s leading technology enabled Budget accommodation aggregator has announced raising fresh round of funding of USD 2 Million led by CASHurDRIVE (CUD). Founded in 2015 by Pradeep Sajjan, Amit Goel, Nirupma Dhawan, Room on Call meant exclusively for the seekers of branded budgeted accommodation, the portal www.roomoncall.in with its strong presence throughout the country shall further boast of unmatched services at competitive but correct pricing.

By just making a simple click Travellers will be able to choose their preferred destination from an array of choicest properties, including prominent guest houses, boutique hotels and hotels. Also, those seeking direct booking, or while travelling in the absence of internet connection facility may directly call the 24X7 Helpline and get their accommodation booked in real time. The web-portal also has a unique facility of providing actual pictures of the rooms to the customers before they book them online. And the customers have the liberty of making the payments either online, or at their selected hotels. The company has also introduced a mobile app to enable the customers to book their accommodation more conveniently.

“The fresh funding will be used for marketing and strengthening operation in metros along with expanding presence in tier 2 and 3 cities. We will add new members to the current team of 27 and scale up operations to make a pan-India presence. With a current inventory of 8000+ room nights everyday, ROC has already marked its presence in 42+ cities. Moreover, it aims to start its operations across 150 locations and 20,000 rooms in India by year-end.
